GvG Ladder is VERY Broken
The ladder is completely messed up atm.
Only 1 guild is above 1200, and there plenty others with very good records - not even at 1200.
The Second page rank is 1100-
Guilds with record 1-1 have higher rank than 25-25 record.
The ladder is very broken and needs to be fixed. IMO the previous ladder worked fine, i mean they "fixed" (rofl) the ladder to prevent people who gvg'd a ton and lost alot as well. But those guilds never made it above rank 100 if they were lucky, if they want to gvg a bunch then let them. The previous ladder system worked. The current system is broken.

Do you even read the official Guild Wars site?
Here's the Link. Get over there and read it from word to word.

This is mainly a result of lots of pugging. Whenever cow can't field a full team, Brett just pops on #gwp and asks someone to join.
But yeah. No tournament yet. Plus they're just annihilating everybody so they should actually deserve this rating. 156 wins and 7 losses. They deserve that rating.

Aaaand Coridan didn't get it.
On topic, we have to wait for the 'automated tourneys' before we can tell if the system works or not.

High rank (player) requires grind.
High rank (guild) requires grind.
I think that was his point

Effendi, I believe you mean either a high rating, a low rank, or a good rank ( guild )

maybe i took what JR said out of context...i assumed he was meaning what Rank was he personally as in R3 or R6 or what have you....which is based on the HA playing time etc....not all good GvGers spend much time in HA ...if he meant what rank/rating was his guild then I apologize....if not then not :P

Again, seeing as you didnt read the last 23 times it was said. The tournaments didnt start yet.
The ELO system is likely to peak in around the 1900-2200 range. This means that the matching algorithm they had before still applies. As it stands tournaments have not started yet and the ladder is compressed meaning that 1000 rating is still a viable match for the teams at the top of the ladder. Once tournaments start the ladder will quickly spread and the matching system will work as it always has in the past.
